お久しぶりです!Long time no see since my semester started, I'm back!
Claude Shannon? Nope, it is now one of the top choices consumers go for AI-assisted work on an everyday basis since the surge of OpenAI's ChatGPT.
I started with the free tier as I was still a student back then. I had the urge to use it due to the overwhelming learning stress in my programming class in uni. I still remember my first prompt:
I was shocked. I felt that that response in 10-ish seconds obliterated my hard work to learn how to maintain a graph efficiently for the whole evening. I am down, but during that moment, I just Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V that snippet of code to the online judge and submitted it.
The code got AC (Accepted). My mood was down, my code got accepted, but is it mine?

Slowly throughout the semester, I kept chatting with Claude. It tackled problems one by one and kept overperforming.
On second try, I spent an hour working on the problem set before I prompted Claude. I then pasted my code. I felt the same low. But this time the guilt just lasted for less than an hour. Soon, I stopped approaching my coursework the old way. I would start, get stuck, then immediately browse: claude.ai + Enter. Just a small hint, I told myself...
Since then, doing stuff that I didn't know had been awfully simple. (I am always one of those guys who persisted in learning from scratch)
After a few months of AI-spree, I started to change how I view using Generative AI. I started to use Claude for academic research, coding agent, search engine, etc. (All sorts of stuff you can imagine.)
I highly encourage whoever is reading this right now: if you haven't changed your workflow to be AI-driven, please do so. Or at least try; I bet you'll explore a whole new world (give it some time to fit you).
Btw, if you have any thoughts on this topic, like how to use AI and stuff or anything you are curious, feel free to reach out to me via email!
